Earth Hour Party at Crow's Nest Clover Island Inn in KennewickMarch 29 is the day the whole world celebrates Earth Hour. Some people from all across the earth do it by turning off all of their non-essential lights while others show they’re one with the whole world through different events.

Head on out to Crow’s Nest Clover Island Inn on March 29 and listen to acoustic music and watch live stream of Earth Hour events as they happen around the world. You would even get the chance to watch as the decorative lighting of Kennewick’s own cable bridge is turned off in observance of Earth Hour, which will be observed from 8:30 to 9:30PM on said day. Admission is free.

Camerata Musica Featuring Will Earl Spanheimer at RichlandIf you don’t have anything better to do on March 22, head on out to Battelle Auditorium for Camerata Musica. The show will start at 8PM until 11PM, and it will feature Will Earl Spanheimer, a local artist who is part of Kennewick High’s class of 1986.

One of a Kind Show
Will Earl Spanheimer is a bass-baritone, and he will be performing with Patti Robertson, a collaborative pianist. Their special guest is soprano Carissa Simpson, and together, they will present a program of operatic arias intermixed with classic show tunes.

Mid-Columbia Mastersingers Concert – Unterseher and GesualdoOn February 21 at 7:30PM and February 22 at 3:00PM, the Mid-Columbia Mastersingers will present the third in their Perfect Pairing Concert Series.

On both days, the work of Tri Cities’ composer, Reginald Unterseher, will be presented, along with a weeklong guest artist residency and an exciting new commission. Some top local singers will be featured in small group performances highlighting Unterseher’s music as it is paired with the works of innovative Rennaisance composer Carlo Gesualdo. There will also be a 30-minute “Behind the Music” talk before each concert.

On May 21 head over to Preston Premium Wines for the Stomp Out Cancer Event. Stomp Out Cancer is a fundraising event hosted by Preston Premium Wines, Team Stomp IT and Gary’s Gang to benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be dinner, dancing, music and wine for all to enjoy. You will also be able to join in on some fun games as well as participate in live and silent auctions to benefit the American Cancer Society. Stomp Out Cancer will take place at Preston Premium Wines in Pasco Washington from 4:00pm-10:00pm on May 21.

Tickets can be purchased at either the Bank of Whitman in Pasco Washington or the American Cancer Society in Kennewick Washington. The price of tickets is $65 for a couple or $250 for a table of 8.

On Saturday, November13 head out to the Sandberg Event Center in West Richland Washington for the Free Family Dance honoring children with special needs. There will be great food, exciting games, tons of fun dancing, and overall just a great evening! Live music will be provided by the Thunder River Boys Band as well as some DJ music and lighting provided by Sound.doc Productions. Beginning today in Pasco Washington is the annual Heritage Days at Sacajawea State Park. Heritage Days is presented by the Mid-Columbia Traditional Arts and Music Association and the Wildhorse Foundation. This is a weekend long event that begins today, September 24 at 9:00am-3:00pm, and goes through Sunday.
