On Saturday, September 25, the City of Richland will be holding their 10th City Fair beginning at 10:30am and going until 1:30pm. The fair will be a way for the residents of Richland Washington and the rest of the Tri Cities to come learn about the municipal services, programs and projects. Come by the Richland City Hall on the corner of George Washington Way and Swift Blvd where there will be activities, displays and demonstrations for all ages. There will be a city employee from each department manning a display with handouts, games and demonstrations.

The Mid Columbia Mastersingers will be performing on Friday, September 24, at the Central United Protestant Church in Richland Washington. The group will be performing Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto Number 2 in F major, his Cantata “Es ist nichts Gesundes an meinem Leibe” BWV 25, as well as Vivaldi’s Gloria in D major. This Mastersingers event will feature internationally-acclaimed early music soprano Julianne Baird and early music specialist Kraig Scott on harpsichord. This weekend on August 7, Preston Premium Wines presents Tiki Beach Blowout at their facilities in Pasco, Washington. The event will feature a concert by the band Plastic Soul and it is a Hawaiian themed event, complete with pig, so wear your best Hawaiian attire. Come hang out with your friends, significant other, or come to meet new people! The event begins at 7:00 pm and goes until midnight. Memorial Day Events around the Mid ColumbiaIn honor of those who have served and are serving there will be multiple ceremonies around the Mid Columbia on Memorial Day.  

At the Columbia Memorial Gardens in Pasco Washington the American Legion Post 34 will be holding a ceremony at 10:00 am and again at 1:00 pm at the Cityview Cemetery. Following the ceremonies will be beef stew and cornbread at the Legion Post in Pasco.

At 10:30 am at the new Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Governor Chris Gregoire will help open and dedicate the first state veteran’s cemetery which will be in Medical Lake. This cemetery will be able to serve nearly 140,000 veterans and their families in Eastern Washington.

Clover Island Inn is hosting a Summer of Fun and Music on the Island this summer. One of the first events of the summer is the 6th Annual Live Jimmy Buffett Tribute Party on May 30.
