This summer Clover Island Inn in Kennewick Washington is hosting a wide variety of summer events such as concerts, pool parties, car shows, and of course a boat parade kick-off. Here is a list of events going on at Clover Island Inn:

Hydroplane Race Kick-Off Party
On July 29, come on out to Clover Island Inn for an evening of fun and gear up for the 46th Annual Columbia Cup Hydroplane Races, Colorblind will be playing. Things will kick off at 7:00pm and go until about 11:00pm. The cost is $5 per person, only those over the age of 21 will be admitted.

Pool Party
Every Sunday during the months of July and August head over to Clover Island Inn for music by 3 Legged Dog, food and beverages at the pool.

This summer sign your self up for some art classes, this is great for anyone, artistic or not. Throughout the summer Chell Design in Kennewick Washington will be holding art classes for adults. Those who attend will enjoy wine, appetizers, and the chance to create and original piece of art. Check out the following schedule of classes.

July 30 and August 20: Jewelry Making, Silver Bundle Pendant
Wendy lee of Fort Logan Designs will teach you how to make tear drops on silver wire using a live torch. Through the course of the class you will learn hos to measure, bundle and wire wrap a custom pendant. The cost to attend is $110.00 which include the cost of materials. Both sessions will take place from 10:00am-1:00pm.

This summer sign your 5+ year old child into some art classes, this is great for any student, artistic or not. Throughout the summer Chell Design in Kennewick Washington will be holding art classes for children. These classes are held to teach children not only how to create art but also to teach them the history and technique behind piece of art. Children who attend will participate in lessons centered on a "reason;" reasons may include a reading assignment, a holiday theme, mimicking apiece of art or even following step by step instructions. Classes will also incorporate art history and a chance for your child to creatively explore a theme. The Tri Cities Association of Realtors® June 2011 market report was made available today. Things might seem bleak given the number of homes on the market(1) versus the number of homes sold(2) when comparing to last year's June. However, our homes appear to be increasing in value(3) and the really good news is our market might be headed for an upturn in sales given the number of homes under contract(4). Of course, remembering this time last year the First Time Home Buyer Credit was available, but having said that, June's sales are the lowest in 4 years. Given the rest of the United States' real estate markets, we are thankful to be in the Tri Cites as for the most part our homes are either maintaining their value but most often increasing in value.
