Put your cowboy hat on and polish those boots because the Tri Cities is celebrating the 11th Annual Columbia River Cowboy Gathering and Music Festival on April 11, 12, and 13 at the Benton County Fairgrounds in Kennewick.
Mark Your Calendars
You wouldn’t want to miss this event meant to raise funds for several good causes. It is Columbia River Cowboy Gathering’s mission “to preserve the western way of life by providing a festival honoring the cowboy way of life and heritage through music, poetry, western arts and goods, keeping the festival wholesome, family oriented and at an affordable price”. It is the organization’s goal to “provide financial assistance to various community and non-profit groups within our community as well as allowing the Columbia Basin area to enjoy a weekend of western culture and be affordable to everyone and their family”. Incidentally, the charities they are serving this year are Rascals Rodeo and Kennewick FFA.
Here’s the weekend schedule for easier reference:
- Friday, April 11, event starts at 12 noon.
- Saturday, April 12, event will start at 9AM.
- Sunday, April 13, Cowboy Church starts at 9AM, but breakfast will be served starting 7AM.
