On November 13-14, check out The Cascade Natural Gas's Savor the Flavor event going on at the TRAC in Pasco Washington. You don't want to miss out on an opportunity like this one! There will be hundreds of food and cooking related exhibits, celebrity chef demonstrations, Fresh Chef of the Mid Columbia (our local Iron Chef competition), Best Burger competition, live music, a BBQ pavillion, a culinary classroom, liquid libation learning center, and a culinary marketplace. There will even be a kid's area too with lots of fun activities for them! On Saturday, November 13 doors will be open between 11:00am and 10:00pm, the concert will take place between 6:00-10:00pm. Sunday, November 14, doors will be open 10:00am-7:00pm. In order to allow each attendee to get the most out of this tasting experience, each vendor will have smaller portioned sized menu items and drinks for sale. To purchase these items, attendees will use a taste ticket. Taste tickets are $1 a piece and each adult ticket come with 4 free taste tickets and each senior ticket come with 2 free taste tickets. While supplies last, with your first purchase of 5 taste tickets you will receive the Savor the Flavor Souvenir Govino Wine Glass. Savor the Flavor is open to individuals of all ages; the whole family can come! Tickets for adults are $17 each, child tickets for ages 6-14 are $6 each, senior tickets for ages 65 and up are $12 each, children 5 and under are free. Each ticket is good for both days so you can come and go as you please. The cost of the ticket does not cover costs of food and drinks beyond the taste tickets. Tickets can be purchased online or at the TRAC center box office. For those out of town guests coming for Savor the Flavor 2010, the Red Lion Inn in Pasco Washington is offering two Stay and Play packages. The Stay and Play 1 night package includes a discounted room rate of $85.95, free shuttle service to and from Savor the Flavor, AND 1 free adult admission ticket, with 4 free taste tickets, for each room booked. There is also the Stay and Play 2 night package which includes a discounted room rate of $85.95, free shuttle service to and from Savor the Flavor, AND 2 free adult admission ticket, with 8 free taste tickets, for each room booked.
