The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club will be hosting the 31st Annual Show and Shine Car Show this weekend in Richland Washington. The Show and Shine Car Show is the Northwest's finest Mustang car show, this year they are expecting over 140 mustangs. On Saturday, May 28, things will get rolling in the O'Reilly Auto Parts and Dairy Queen Chill & Grill parking lot in Richland. At 11:30am there will be a mini cruise and lunch, a little later on Saturday get a sneak peak at the informal Show & Shine beginning at 5:30pm.

The main event is Sunday, May 29, at Howard Amon Park in Richland. For those still needing to register there will be a registration table set up at 9:00am. The car show will last all day from 9:00am-3:30pm. The patriotic opening ceremonies…

Next Saturday, May 14, head over to the Airfield Estates Tasting Room in Prosser Washington for the Red, White and Wine fundraiser event to benefit the Prosser Boys and Girls Club. The event is being sponsored by Airfield Estates, Martinez & Martinez, Kestrel Vintners, Coyote Canyon Winery, Prosser’s Tom Denchel Ford Country Dealership, Agapes Events, Espirit Graphics, Conover Insurance, and Sara Nelson Design.

Winemakers from Airfield Estates, Martinez & Martinez, and Kestrel Vintners will be on hand throughout the event. Food will be provided by Tuscany Chef Jesse Ayala. On Saturday, November13 head out to the Sandberg Event Center in West Richland Washington for the Free Family Dance honoring children with special needs. There will be great food, exciting games, tons of fun dancing, and overall just a great evening! Live music will be provided by the Thunder River Boys Band as well as some DJ music and lighting provided by Sound.doc Productions. Beginning today in Pasco Washington is the annual Heritage Days at Sacajawea State Park. Heritage Days is presented by the Mid-Columbia Traditional Arts and Music Association and the Wildhorse Foundation. This is a weekend long event that begins today, September 24 at 9:00am-3:00pm, and goes through Sunday. This weekend on August 7, Preston Premium Wines presents Tiki Beach Blowout at their facilities in Pasco, Washington. The event will feature a concert by the band Plastic Soul and it is a Hawaiian themed event, complete with pig, so wear your best Hawaiian attire. Memorial Day Events around the Mid ColumbiaIn honor of those who have served and are serving there will be multiple ceremonies around the Mid Columbia on Memorial Day.  

At the Columbia Memorial Gardens in Pasco Washington the American Legion Post 34 will be holding a ceremony at 10:00 am and again at 1:00 pm at the Cityview Cemetery. Following the ceremonies will be beef stew and cornbread at the Legion Post in Pasco.

At 10:30 am at the new Washington State Veterans Cemetery, Governor Chris Gregoire will help open and dedicate the first state veteran’s cemetery which will be in Medical Lake. This cemetery will be able to serve nearly 140,000 veterans and their families in Eastern Washington.
