How Will You Pay for College Workshop at Kamiakin High School
On Thursday April 22, at 7:00p, in the library at Kamiakin High School there will be a workshop for parents and students about college funding. The workshop is meant to parents and students about getting money through scholarships and grants, about new student loans, and how to apply for financial aid to get the best deals. Erik Pielstick, certified college planning specialist, will be heading up the workshop. There is no charge to attend but pre-registration is required in order to receive the 48-page college funding guide. For more information call Kamiakin High School at 509.372.7606. In the first quarter this year there have been 500 permits issued for single family homes where as, in the first quarter last year there were only 169. This year the total value of permits issued is about $112 million which is the best it’s been since 2005 when there were 528 issues.
