Washington State University Tri-Cities - East Auditorium will be holding their MLK Community Celebration - "The Dream Behind Bars" on Thursday, January 22. Please be advised that doors open at 7:00 in the evening and program starts at 7:30. Admission is free to the public.

Dr. Davis will be discussing connections between the legacy of Martin Luther King and current problems with the criminal justice system in the event.
Internationally known activist from the 1960s and 1970s, Angela Y. Davis who is also a Distinguished Professor Emerita of History of Consciousness and Feminist Studies at University of California, Santa Cruz will be there . This event also includes presentations of the MLK Distinguished Service Awards. This will be a video conference broadcast.
