The Reach Museum in Richland, Washington is a one-of-a-kind destination for history buffs and art aficionados alike. Established in 1987, this amazing museum features collections of items from the Columbia River Basin that represent the diverse cultures of the region’s past as well as pieces from the present. From Native American artifacts to modern contemporary art displays, you’ll find something for everyone here!

Labor Day weekend, Howard Amon Park in Richland will host the Tumbleweed Music Festival. 3 days of great acoustic music on the banks of the Columbia River. This year's theme is "Dear Friends." All events are free except for the Saturday Evening Concert and Sunday Contra Dance Fundraisers. Five outdoor stages featuring 99+ different acts, an open mic stage, an indoor dance floor, 30+ workshops, food & craft vendors, and online performance & workshops.
From Friday, October 9 until Sunday, October 11 the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs in Walla Walla will be hosting the Photography Convention Weekend at Walla Walla Community College located at 500 Tausick Way Walla Walla, Washington.
Kayak the Hanford Reach |Â Friday, August 28 |Â Did you know the Hanford Reach is the last free-flowing stretch of the Columbia River in the United States? It is home to a variety of animals including waterfowl, fish and wildlife. The White Bluffs has a fossil record which extends back more than two million years. Kayak this magnificent section of the Columbia and witness the breath taking scenery as we paddle from the Vernita Bridge, through the White Bluffs to the old ferry landing. Trip includes transportation, guides, shuttle and kayaks. Please bring lunch/snacks, sunscreen and water.
