U.S. Army Sponsored Fever Game with Special Silent Auction for Wounded Warrior Project
This Saturday night, May 29, the Tri City Fever Football team will be playing against the Fairbanks Grizzlies. The Fever team and the U.S. Army will be joining forces for this memorial weekend game. Players of the Fever team will be wearing special edition U.S. Army camouflage jerseys for the game. During the game a silent auction will take place for the special edition jerseys to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project began in 2002 with the purpose of helping wounded soldiers. Today the mission of the Wounded Warrior Project remains the same, to honor and empower wounded warriors. One of the trademark activities of the project is delivering backpacks with supplies and other items to the bedsides of wounded soldiers. The key purposes of Wounded Warrior Project is to raise awareness and the enlist the support of the public for injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique programs and services that meet the needs of severely injured service members.

Tickets for the Fever Football game range in price depending on where you sit. Seats can cost anywhere between $15 and $45. The game will take place at the Toyota Center in Kennewick; kick-off will be at 7:05 pm. For more information call the Fever box office at 509.222.2215.
