Naches Peak Loop Hike imageThe Naches Peak Loop Hike will be held on August 26, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The group will meet at the Richland Seventh-Day Adventist Church, at 1807 McMurray Ave., Richland WA.

Naches Peak Loop Hike | Enjoy the View and the Benefits Along the Trail

Participants are advised to be at the church at exactly 1:30 p.m. The group will leave not later than 1:45 p.m. All hikers must bring packed lunch since the group only have time to eat in the middle of hiking. Wearing a pair of sturdy hiking boots is recommended, as well as a sweater or a coat as the temperature can get really cold especially at night. Admission to the park requires a Northwest Forest Pass which can be obtained at REI for the price of $5 each for one day pass.

The Badger Mountain Geology Hike will be led by the respected geologist, George Last. The event will feature a 3-mile, half-day hike headed to the top of Badger Mountain. The hiking route will start at the Dallas Road Trailhead and will end at the Canyon Trailhead, where a bus will be waiting to take the participants back to Dallas Road.
