About the National Trails Day Hikes by Tapteal Greenway
The National Trails Day Hikes will be comprised of a couple of guided hikes. Both will be along the Tapteal Trail, but one will be from Chamna Natural preserve to WE Johnson Park, which will begin at the parking lot of Chamna at 10 o'clock in the morning. The other hike will be along the Yakima River which will start at 8:00 a.m. at the Wanawish Dam.

Tapteal Greenway is a non-profit organization which aims to protect and preserve the wonders of the Yakima River. Through conservation of the natural resources, Tapteal Greenway is confident that the native habitats will be protected, recreational activities for the community will be enhanced, and more educational programs regarding the natural resources and the environment will be formed.
