Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, we are unable to hold Cuisine de Vin in August as we have for the past 13 year.  We hoped our community would be further along in the phased re-opening, but here we are mid-June and still in Phase 1.

We are now planning to hold the 14th Annual Cuisine de Vin on Friday, October 9, 2020 at the beautiful Terra Blanca Winery & Estate Vineyard in Benton City.  While this fundraising event will still offer a very casual fun evening with friends, it will be very different from year’s past.

27th Annual Mid Columbia Duck Race In Kennewick, WashingtonFor over 27 years six local Rotary groups including the Rotary Clubs of Columbia Center, Columbia Valley Daybreak, Pasco-Kennewick, Richland, Richland Riverside and Tri-Cities Sunrise. Over $2 million has been raised in the 27 years since the duck race's inception have come together. This year the kick off for the Mid-Columbia Duck race will be held on Saturday, October 10 at Columbia Park in Kennewick (by the bandshell and Lampson Pits) from 10:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon.

The Mid Columbia Duck Race fundraiser has been going on for the past 27 years. During those 27 years the local Rotary groups have raised money used to support local human service organizations and projects.

This event titled “A Night of Entertainment” will take place at the Westside Center in Richland Washington and begins at 6:30pm. The evening will feature comedian Bob Smiley and Illusionist Drew Worsham with a worship set by local band Arise. Tomorrow, August 28, head on out to Howard Amon Park in Richland Washington for the Bark for Life Rally. For several years now the nationally recognized Relay for Life event has begun a Bark for Life Rally. This rally is a place where dogs and their owners can participate together with the purpose of raising money to support the American Cancer Society. This year it has been decided to throw a rally here in Richland. There will be many Demonstrations and Vendors available at the rally to help raise money. The top 12 fundraising dogs or dog families will earn a feature spot in the Bark for Life Calendar. All contributions made will be totaled at the close of the event. This event is being held to raise money for the services provided by the Benton Franklin Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership will be hosting the first ever annual Painted Chair contest in the Tri Cities on July 19. Chairs may range in style, it could be a bench, kitchen chair, lawn chair, or any other sort of seat. Each contestant must also have a vote box which needs to be decorated and have a slot at the top for vote slips to slide through. Contestants must provide their own chair, decorations, and vote box. Participants in the Painted Chair contest must fill out an entry form and pay $10. Chairs will displayed at Flag Plaza on the corner of Kennewick Avenue and Auburn Street in Kennewick Washington. U.S. Army Sponsored Fever Game with Special Silent Auction for Wounded Warrior Project
This Saturday night, May 29, the Tri City Fever Football team will be playing against the Fairbanks Grizzlies. The Fever team and the U.S. Army will be joining forces for this memorial weekend game. Players of the Fever team will be wearing special edition U.S. Army camouflage jerseys for the game.
