On Saturday, June 1, 2019, Auction of Washington Wines’ Wine and Music Festival will showcase over 60 outstanding Washington wines along with live music from Dakota Brown Band and Jack Rothwell. More than 20 of Washington’s award-winning wineries will be in attendance. Guests will nosh on food from Porter’s Real Barbecue and Fat Olives Restaurant & Catering. Proceeds benefit Seattle Children’s and Viticulture and Enology Research at Washington State University.

Coming up on May 28 the Auction of Washington Wines will be hosting Revelry on Red Mountain. Revelry on Red Mountain will take place at Col Solare Red Mountain Winery and Estate Vineyard in Benton City Washington beginning at 6:00pm. This event will feature 20 local winemakers with a culinary feast put together by Chef Frank Magana of Picazo 7Seventeen. Those who attend will enjoy tasting local wines and cooking and of course gorgeous views of Red Mountain. A silent and live auction will take place to benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Washington Wine Education Foundation, so bring your checkbooks.

Tickets for Revelry on Red Mountain cost $95 per person, these can be purchased by going to the Auction of Washington website.

This event titled “A Night of Entertainment” will take place at the Westside Center in Richland Washington and begins at 6:30pm. The evening will feature comedian Bob Smiley and Illusionist Drew Worsham with a worship set by local band Arise. For 30 years now Kennewick Washington has been home to the annual Tri Cities Wine Festival and this year is no different. Join other wine lovers November 5-6 for a weekend of wining and dining. The festival will take place at the Three Rivers Convention Center.

The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership will be hosting the first ever annual Painted Chair contest in the Tri Cities on July 19. Chairs may range in style, it could be a bench, kitchen chair, lawn chair, or any other sort of seat. Each contestant must also have a vote box which needs to be decorated and have a slot at the top for vote slips to slide through. Contestants must provide their own chair, decorations, and vote box. Participants in the Painted Chair contest must fill out an entry form and pay $10. Chairs will displayed at Flag Plaza on the corner of Kennewick Avenue and Auburn Street in Kennewick Washington.
