Try to visit different parks in Richland, Washington on Saturday, October 4 for their "Sweater Weather: Fashion for the Urban Forest" event. This is the perfect time to start gearing up for a new rivershore art project that concludes in the fall with a month long exhibit.
About the "Sweater Weather: Fashion for the Urban Forest"
The event is a pubic project sponsored by Richland Parks and Recreation to produce colorful art pieces along the rivershore and boost the popularity of Richland parks as well as the walkability of the area.
For people who like to knit or want to learn how, you can certainly enjoy the diversity that art and trees brings to a community. And if you are the type of person who like strolling along the shoreline, this project is especially for you!
In addition, if your knitting days are over and you have unwanted yarn lying around, you can participate by donating it for use.
