On Sunday, January 25 everyone is invited to the music of the spheres as they come to Richland, Washington. Watch the Mid Columbia Symphony perform excerpts from "2001: A Space Odyssey" and The Planets by Gustav Holst. The film score to "2001" features iconic music by Richard Strauss ("Fanfare" from Also Sprach Zarathustra), Johann Strauss II (Blue Danube Waltz) and others. These excerpts will be paired with Holst's magnificent suite that depicts each of the planets in the solar system.

The concert will be held at the Richland High Auditorium at 930 Long Avenue Richland, Washington. Show starts at 3:00 in the afternoon.
