Othello Sandhill Crane Festival In Othello, WashingtonFrom March 27 to 29, come and experience the amazing beauty of the natural world in this year's Othello Sandhill Crane Festival.

About the Event
Be a part of this special event and the return of Sandhill cranes to the Channeled Scablands. This three-day community event features a variety of activities, from wildlife tours and lectures on the area’s natural and cultural heritage to an art contest and children’s activities. An admission fee is charged. Please see the schedule on the official website.

With general admission into the Festival on Saturday, you may attend free lectures which are repeated throughout the day. The Festival has many tours for crane viewing along with specialty tours. Specialty tours include Potholes Reservoir Boat Birding Tour, Lower Crab Creek Birding Tour, Columbia National Wildlife Refuge Tour, Puget Sound Energy Tour, Wahluke Slope Birding, Columns and Cameras Tour, Palouse Falls Tour, and Ice Age Floods’ Geology of the Drumheller Hike. Pre-registration is suggested to reserve your seat as some fill up quickly.

Tours: $12 adults, $7 seniors/children, specialty tours $15-$60 - field trip participants must purchase a general admission ticket
