Annual Challenge Series Races/Soap Box Derby In Richland WashingtonAre you ready to be watch a race and be a part of something wonderful? If your answer is a big YES! Then you are invited to come and join a special event on Saturday, October 3 between Richland High and Carmichael Hill, Lee Boulevard Richland Washington.

There will be two races in the said event; the first race will be at 8:30 in the morning followed by the second race at 10:15 in the morning.

4th Annual Challenge Series Races/Soap Box Derby

Challenge Series Races/Soap Box Derby is a one day event happening between Richland High and Carmichael Middle Schools. Heat A will begin at 8:30 in the morning and Heat B at 10:15 in the morning.

This unique opportunity allows able bodied children the chance to team with a Special needs child and build a bridge to understanding and friendship.  The organizers are looking for captains and co-captains for race day.  To Captain a Soap Box Derby Race Car Team. you must be between the ages of 11 - 13, and to Co-Captain, you must be a Special needs child. Neither team member shall be over 5'2 and 130 lbs. The public is invited to come and enjoy the fun and cheer their favorite driver and team.
