The ABCs Of Probability At Shilo Inn Richland, WashingtonOn Tuesday, February 3 everyone is invited in The ABCs of Probability happening at Shilo Inn 50 Comtock Boulevard Richland, Washington from 5:30 in the evening onwards.

Details of the Event
The event features Jim Davidson. He will be will the featured speaker at the dinner meeting of the local ASQ (American Society for Quality) section.

Mr. Davidson will talk about “The ABCs of Probability” focuses on sampling plans, statistical sampling theory and statistical analysis of sample results to support decision making.

He will also be discussing the data quality objectives (DQOs) and how to implement the DQO process, which provides steps for data collection activities. Jim will visually illustrate basic facts about probability related to random sampling with and without replacement, by sampling the ABC-to-Z letter sequence a million times or more per second on a laptop computer. The results will probably surprise you.

The February 3 meeting will be held at the Shilo Inn in Richland, with check in/networking starting at 5:30 pm, buffet dinner at 6, and the presentation at 6:45.

Admission:
$20 for ASQ members $24 for non-members, or $5 for the presentation only.
