Richland’s Leprechaun Dash for Elementary and Middle School Students Here’s something for elementary and middle school students out there.

Tri Cities Wa presents the Leprechaun Dash, a one-mile fun run to be held in a closed portion of Columbia Park Trail. The fun run is happening on March 15, and it will start and finish near near R.F. McDougall’s and Kimo's.

The Leprechaun Dash
There is no fee to join the Dash. This is Three Rivers Road Runners’ way to help kids have some fun, get healthy, and stay fit at the same time. However, runners need to register, as their parents’ signatures are needed on the entry forms. Children older than 15 years old are excluded from registering for the Leprechaun Dash.

Tri Cities Presents St. Patrick Day Foot Race in Richland WashingtonWelcome springtime the Tri Cities style with the annual St. Patrick Foot Race happening on March 15. There will be 5 and 10km races, with the 10km race starting at 10:00AM and the 5km race at 10:10AM. The race course will close at 11:30AM. The race will start and finish near R.F. McDougall’s and Kimo's at Columbia Center North, Richland, Washington.

Age group awards will be given for 5 and 10km races using the following age group:

Richland Run Fest – A Full Marathon, a Half Marathon and a 5K RunJust a head’s up: this race is not to be confused with the USRA-sponsored Tri Cities Half Marathon happening in April.

Richland Run Fest
The Richland Run Fest is a running event comprised of a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5k run. This is scheduled for February 22 at the Red Lion in Richland Wa. Packet pick-up, as well as pre-race and post-race activities will all take place there.

If you’re from outside the Tri Cities, we’re happy to inform you that the Red Lion will be providing rooms at a discounted rate of $89.00, but you need to mention explicitly that you are part of or running at the Richland Run Fest. Otherwise, you will not be given the discounted rate. You may reserve a room by February 21st by calling 1-800-RED-LION.

The City of Pasco is once again teaming up with Lampson International for the 32nd Annual Cable Bridge Run. I don’t know about you, but I have been looking forward to participating in the 10K portion of this run. For the last several months my dad and I have gone out running along the Columbia River in Kennewick and Pasco Washington. If you aren’t quite ready for a 10K quite yet, don’t sweat it there is also a 5K run and a 1 mile fun run. A timing chip will be used by all participants to track finish times and paces.

No matter which race you choose to participate in the cost is $15 if you would also like a shirt or if you choose to opt out of the shirt then the fee goes down to $10 through December 13. Registration turned in between December 14-17…

Grape Crush Rush Fun Run
On September 25, the 3 Rivers Road Runners will be having their annual Grape Crush Rush in Kennewick Washington. This annual run will take place in Historic Downtown Kennewick and features a one mile and a 5K event. Both the 5K and one mile events will begin at 8:30am at Clock Plaza. The cost to register for the event is $9.00 after September 18. There are two ways in which to register, one way is to go online or you can register on the day of the event between 7:30 and 8:15am at Clock Plaza.
