Every year the City of Prosser Washington holds the Great Prosser Balloon Rally during the month of September. This year the event will take place the weekend of the 22rd-24th, Friday, lasting through Sunday. Those of you who are early risers will enjoy the sunrise liftoffs each morning at 6:15, Friday-Sunday. The sunrise launches take place at the Prosser Airport. But if you are not one of those people who enjoy waking up early then come to the Night glow on Saturday evening at Art Fiker Stadium. Gates will open at 6:00pm.

Rose Ensemble presented by Camerata in Richland's Battelle AuditoriumThe Rose Ensemble presented by Camerata will be performed on Saturday, November 21. The Minneapolis–based vocal group returns to the series with Il Poverello (“the poor one”), a thematic program featuring readings and music about Francis of Assisi ranging from the 12th to the 15th centuries.

The program includes a mix of music and culture of medieval Spain where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together in a shared and artistic society, which demonstrates how diversity and tolerance stays alive in music. On May 21 head over to Preston Premium Wines for the Stomp Out Cancer Event. Stomp Out Cancer is a fundraising event hosted by Preston Premium Wines, Team Stomp IT and Gary’s Gang to benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be dinner, dancing, music and wine for all to enjoy. You will also be able to join in on some fun games as well as participate in live and silent auctions to benefit the American Cancer Society. Stomp Out Cancer will take place at Preston Premium Wines in Pasco Washington from 4:00pm-10:00pm on May 21.

Tickets can be purchased at either the Bank of Whitman in Pasco Washington or the American Cancer Society in Kennewick Washington. The price of tickets is $65 for a couple or $250 for a table of 8.
