On Saturday, October 17 the American Cancer Society (ACS) is hosting Making Strides Against Breast Cancer a Walk for a Cause event to honor breast cancer survivors and raises awareness about the disease. There will be three categories you can opt to join: 1 mile, 5K and 10K walk.Â

On Saturday, October 10 The Columbia River Chordsmen will be performing and entertaining you with harmonious cabaret style evening with pie and ice cream for dessert. The concert will be held at Kennewick First Presbyterian Church.
On Friday, October 2 gather your friends or family members to compete for the Skill Flux challenge and gain points at each and every station. The event will take place at The Southridge Sports Pavilion located at 2901 Southridge Boulevard Kennewick, Washington.Â
This coming Saturday, October 3 Ten Cent Treasure unearths the secrets of three mysterious legends of the past, treasure in a U.S. mint, the disappearance of the silver statue during Chicago World’s Fair and kidnapping and murder of an American Frontier  with a candlelight and luminous pictorial display storytelling with Jay Frank. On Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11 orchid-lovers are invited to the Annual Orchid Show and Sale at Tri-Tech Skills Center in Kennewick, Washington. The event will be from 11:00 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon on Saturday and 10:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon on Sunday.
On Saturday, October 3 everyone is invited to the 34th Annual Cavalcade of Bands at Neil F. Lampson Stadium in Kennewick, Washington. Preliminary competition starts at 9:30 in the morning, finals starts at 6:00 in the evening.
On Friday October 9 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 in the afternoon and Saturday October 10 from 9:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon come join the 2015 Fall Bazaar happening at Kennewick Valley Grange #731 in Kennewick, Washington.
On Saturday October 3, Rattlesnake Mountain HOG Chapter #2865 will be hosting the annual Fill the Cups event from 9:00 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening. This year’s event will jumpstart at Rattlesnake Mountain Harley-Davidson  and includes a non-guided motorcycle ride with scavenger hunt, and ends at the Longbranch Bar & Grill in Finley. The raised funds will be given to the Lourdes Foundation and Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation to provide a free breast cancer screening to those who are uninsured residents of the area.
Worldwide Photo Walk is a walk for everyone happening on Saturday, October 3. The organizer is encouraging not only the photo enthusiasts but everybody to be part of this event. You can bring any kind of cameras you like.Â
Shane Barnard and Shane Everett along with their drummer/manager Joey Parish will be performing in Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities on Friday, October 2 at 7:00 in the evening. Shane & Shane duo is a Christian band based on Texas and popular for their acoustic and worship songs.
