2021Three Rivers Folklife's Tumbleweed Music Festival, Howard Amon Park on the Columbia RiverLabor Day weekend, Howard Amon Park in Richland will host the Tumbleweed Music Festival.  3 days of great acoustic music on the banks of the Columbia River.  This year's theme is "Dear Friends."  All events are free except for the Saturday Evening Concert and Sunday Contra Dance Fundraisers.  Five outdoor stages featuring 99+ different acts, an open mic stage, an indoor dance floor, 30+ workshops, food & craft vendors, and online performance & workshops.

This annual event is a place where the experienced and novice artists and art lovers can come together for one coming theme, ART. The show features a wide variety of art, you are guaranteed to find photos, jewelry, metal art, furniture, pottery, paintings, glass art, and much more at the Annual Arts in the Park event. The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club will be hosting the 31st Annual Show and Shine Car Show this weekend in Richland Washington. The Show and Shine Car Show is the Northwest's finest Mustang car show, this year they are expecting over 140 mustangs. On Saturday, May 28, things will get rolling in the O'Reilly Auto Parts and Dairy Queen Chill & Grill parking lot in Richland. At 11:30am there will be a mini cruise and lunch, a little later on Saturday get a sneak peak at the informal Show & Shine beginning at 5:30pm.

The main event is Sunday, May 29, at Howard Amon Park in Richland. For those still needing to register there will be a registration table set up at 9:00am. The car show will last all day from 9:00am-3:30pm. The patriotic opening ceremonies…

On April 16, come out and run in support of local Autism programs around the Tri Cities Washington area at the Responding to Autism Fun Run. All the proceeds raised at the run will go towards providing resources for families affected by autism; resources such as low cost/free autism screenings.

The Responding to Autism Fun Run will include a 1 mile family friendly, 5K and a 10K. The cost is $20 for the 5K or the 10K; price includes a t-shirt. The 1 mile run is $5 and does not include a t-shirt. The price to buy a t-shirt separately is $15. Tomorrow, August 28, head on out to Howard Amon Park in Richland Washington for the Bark for Life Rally. For several years now the nationally recognized Relay for Life event has begun a Bark for Life Rally. This rally is a place where dogs and their owners can participate together with the purpose of raising money to support the American Cancer Society. This year it has been decided to throw a rally here in Richland. There will be many Demonstrations and Vendors available at the rally to help raise money. The top 12 fundraising dogs or dog families will earn a feature spot in the Bark for Life Calendar. All contributions made will be totaled at the close of the event.
