Camera Walk
Explore Howard Amon Park in all its fall splendor through the lens of your camera. Join award winning photographer John Clement in the discussion for camera settings, composition, and lighting as we walk in the park and capture images. Begin at the Amon Arch and end at the CREHST Museum to view your results. Requires your own camera and tri-pod, USB cable to view your images, sturdy walking shoes, and an eye for adventure. This walk in the park will be on Thursday, October 14 from 7:00am to 11:00am. The class fee is $35.
Adobe Photoshop
Ready to take your pictures to the next level? Begin with Photoshop tools, interface, formats, and basic operation; then progress to rotating, adding text, cropping, correcting tools, changing color and format, applying special effects, and using layers. Techniques are applicable to Photoshop Elements, Adobe’s home version of the software. Basic computer is essential. Bring a USB drive to class. Handouts will be provided. Class will take place on Mondays from 6:30 to 9:00pm at Southridge High School in room C210. The first class will be on October 4 and the last will take place on November 8, there will be no class on October 25. Class will be taught by Mary Ann Breshears. The class fee is $89.
