Every year the City of Prosser Washington holds the Great Prosser Balloon Rally during the month of September. This year the event will take place the weekend of the 22rd-24th, Friday, lasting through Sunday. Those of you who are early risers will enjoy the sunrise liftoffs each morning at 6:15, Friday-Sunday. The sunrise launches take place at the Prosser Airport. But if you are not one of those people who enjoy waking up early then come to the Night glow on Saturday evening at Art Fiker Stadium. Gates will open at 6:00pm.

Movies in the Park by Smoovies in Richland Washington
If you are looking for some fun, free things to do with the kids this Summer check out Smoovies’ Free Outdoor Movie in the Park. On selected Fridays and Saturdays at John Dam Plaza and Columbia Park, there will be free family friendly movies. The evening begins at about 7:00 with a performance by a local, pre selected, family friendly entertainer and kids can enjoy a bounce house and a sing and dance time with TJ the Tiger; the movie will begin at sundown. The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club will be hosting the 31st Annual Show and Shine Car Show this weekend in Richland Washington. The Show and Shine Car Show is the Northwest's finest Mustang car show, this year they are expecting over 140 mustangs. On Saturday, May 28, things will get rolling in the O'Reilly Auto Parts and Dairy Queen Chill & Grill parking lot in Richland. At 11:30am there will be a mini cruise and lunch, a little later on Saturday get a sneak peak at the informal Show & Shine beginning at 5:30pm.

The main event is Sunday, May 29, at Howard Amon Park in Richland. For those still needing to register there will be a registration table set up at 9:00am. The car show will last all day from 9:00am-3:30pm. The patriotic opening ceremonies…
