YMCA Spring Break Camp Southgate Elementary Kennewick, WashingtonThis year's YMCA Spring Break Camp will be on March 20 to April 3 at the Southgate Elementary, 3121 W. 19th Avenue Kennewick, Washington from 6:30 in the morning until 6:00 in the evening.

The camp is for kids ages 5 to 12 (5 year olds must be enrolled in Kindergarten).

Native American Arts, Crafts & Culture Day In Richland, WashingtonRichland Public Library will be hosting Native American Arts, Crafts & Culture Day, a free event on Saturday, November 1 from 10:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.

Details of the Event
This will be a hands-on activities for all ages including dream catchers, tule reed mats and decoys, totem poles, bracelets, necklaces, teepee, puzzle, coloring, construction and more. Native American Arts, Crafts & Culture Day also feature demonstrations, illustrations and presentations of Native American crafts and culture. The event is sponsored by the American Indian Science & Engineering Society Columbia River Chapter.

Tri Cities Wa Holiday EventsChristmas Carnival and Train Ride
Camp Kiwanis is offering train rides, photos with Santa, a Polar Express story time, snacks, crafts, and a performance by Big Top the Clown.  The event will be December 21 from 2:00pm - 5:00pm. Admission is $5 and free for 5 and under. Camp Kiwanis is located at the north end of Columbia Park.

Kennewick's Science Is Fun For Children | Let's Get ElectricKennewick's Science Is Fun For Children | Let's Get Electric is Monday, December 30, 1:00pm-2:30pm, Ages 8-11, $14 City Residents or $21.  If your child is getting cabin fever this winter break and you want them to partake in a fun and educational activity, look no further! Children will have fun exploring electricity and technology in this hands-on science class that will cover the principals of magnetism and motors. Students will create an electromagnet, identify motor parts and use common tools to dismantle an electric motor.  All materials and tools are provided. Activity presenter is Owen Kramer a retired Project Controls Engineer and current substitute teacher for the Kennewick School District.

If you have a crafty child then check this out! Sheep's Clothing, in Kennewick Washington, is offering various Summer Make and Take Classes for kids over the summer. Through the various classes your child will learn the basics of knitting and crocheting, learn how to make jewelry, create knitting or weaving crafts that could make great gifts, as well as a variety of other creative shapes and toys. Most of the classes are taught by Kris Sperling, a few classes will be taught by either Johnabeth Sealy or Marcia MacDonald, owner of Sheep's Clothing.

For 33 years now Christ the King School has held Sausage Fest, the primary fundraising event for each school year. This annual community event hosts nearly 25,000-30,000 people a year making it the third largest event in Tri Cities Washington. Sausage Fest takes place every year during the third full weekend of September, this year it is the 17-18; the weekend begins Friday night at 5:00pm and goes through midnight then starts back up on Saturday at 11:00am and going until midnight..
