The Annabeth's Knife Cosplay Prop Tutorial is a two-session event that will teach how to make a real-looking knife for cosplay. On June 4, the tutorial will feature a video and the actual creation of the knife. The second session will be on June 6, when the participants will be taught how to paint and weather the Cosplay knife. The Richland Public Library will have a limited supply of necessary materials including the foam core, X-acto knives, paint, and hot glue.

Power to the Geeks: A Celebration of Diversity Richland WashingtonLooking for something to do this weekend? Everyone is invited on Saturday, July 19 at 5:00 in the afternoon for the “Power of the Geeks: A Celebration of Diversity” at the Adventures Underground Richland, Washington.

About the Event
The Power to the Geeks 2K Cosplay (costume play) will raise awareness and funds for My Friend’s Place, a local, nonprofit homeless shelter for at-risk youth. The walk will start at Adventures Underground and end at the Fingernail stage in Howard Amon Park, where there will be activities and a barbecue provided by Country Gentleman.
