Annabeth's Knife Cosplay Prop Tutorial
The Annabeth's Knife Cosplay Prop Tutorial is a two-session event that will teach how to make a real-looking knife for cosplay. On June 4, the tutorial will feature a video and the actual creation of the knife. The second session will be on June 6, when the participants will be taught how to paint and weather the Cosplay knife. The Richland Public Library will have a limited supply of necessary materials including the foam core, X-acto knives, paint, and hot glue.
Cosplay, or costume play, is the art of dressing up like a fictional character. It can be a character from a video game, anime or manga, movie, or book. Cosplay appeals to both kids and adults for its entertainment value and the opportunity it provides in enhancing one's confidence and developing creativity.
