About Sewing 101
Sewing 101 will help the participants learn how to properly use the sewing machine and other necessary tools. Tips will be given on what to look for when purchasing sewing materials. The students will be taught how to sew using different stitching methods, as well as how to correct sewing mistakes. Admission to Sewing 101 costs $10 for members of Confluent and $20 for non-members. Everyone is advised to bring pins, pin cushion, tape measure, fabric scissors, needle threader and seam ripper.
