Be part of history and join the Badger Mountain Challenge 15k Trail Run and Hike on Saturday, March 29. Check-in time is from 7-7:45AM and race time is at 8AM. Subaru, Confidence in Motion, sponsors this event.
Racecourse
The course will start at the bottom of Queensgate Road, which gives participants a chance to spread out and go up to the Canyon Trail through the parking lot area at the trailhead. Course goes all the way up to the top of Canyon Trail and continues East down to the service road where it meets up with the Sagebrush Trail.
However, the course doesn’t end there. There is still a long ways to go. In fact, the few sustained climbs that will be made throughout the course of the race will reach a cumulative elevation of 1,900'! For more information about the racecourse, you may visit this page.
Entry Fee
Fee is $25 for trail race with chip timing or $43 for race and long-sleeve running shirt. Fee also includes one goody bag with an assortment of schwag from event sponsors (as long as supplies last) access to fully stocked aid stations, post race meal, and access to race photos. Race packet may be picked up at Runner's Soul in Kennewick on Friday, March 28 from 12PM-7PM.
Incidentally, there will be aid stations every 2-4 miles stocked with water, electrolyte drink, and all the goodies you'll need during the race. There will be no cut-off time for the 15k distance. Special awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers.
