Badger Mountain ChallengeBadger Mountain Challenge will take place on March 24 and 25, 2017. On the 24th, the 50 and 100-mile event will start at 7:00 a.m. at the Trailhead Park. Richland’s Badger Mountain Challenge 50k Ultra MarathonDo you think the 15k trail is too easy? Well, here is where the challenge begins. Go up against some of the more experienced runners on March 29 for the Badger Mountain Challenge 50k Ultra Marathon, which is sponsored by Subaru, Confidence in Motion. Check-in time is between 6-6:45AM and actual marathon start at 7:00AM. However, you have the option to go for an early start, which is at 6:00AM.

Entry Fee
Entrant’s fee for the 50k Ultra Marathon is $45 for trail race only or $63 for race and technical fabric race shirt. The fee also includes one goody bag with an assortment of schwag from event sponsors, chip timing, access to fully stocked aid stations, drop bag transport, post race meal, access to race photos, and a commemorative finisher’s medal.…

Richland’s Badger Mountain Challenge 15k Trail Run and HikeBe part of history and join the Badger Mountain Challenge 15k Trail Run and Hike on Saturday, March 29. Check-in time is from 7-7:45AM and race time is at 8AM. Subaru, Confidence in Motion, sponsors this event. 

Racecourse
The course will start at the bottom of Queensgate Road, which gives participants a chance to spread out and go up to the Canyon Trail through the parking lot area at the trailhead. Course goes all the way up to the top of Canyon Trail and continues East down to the service road where it meets up with the Sagebrush Trail.

However, the course doesn’t end there. There is still a long ways to go. In fact, the few sustained climbs that will be made throughout the course of the race will reach a cumulative elevation of 1,900'! For more…

Richland Run Fest – A Full Marathon, a Half Marathon and a 5K RunJust a head’s up: this race is not to be confused with the USRA-sponsored Tri Cities Half Marathon happening in April.

The Richland Run Fest is a running event comprised of a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5k run. This is scheduled for February 22 at the Red Lion in Richland Wa. Packet pick-up, as well as pre-race and post-race activities will all take place there.

If you’re from outside the Tri Cities, we’re happy to inform you that the Red Lion will be providing rooms at a discounted rate of $89.00, but you need to mention explicitly that you are part of or running at the Richland Run Fest. Otherwise, you will not be given the discounted rate. You may reserve a room by February 21st by calling 1-800-RED-LION.

Grape Crush Rush Fun Run
On September 25, the 3 Rivers Road Runners will be having their annual Grape Crush Rush in Kennewick Washington. This annual run will take place in Historic Downtown Kennewick and features a one mile and a 5K event. Both the 5K and one mile events will begin at 8:30am at Clock Plaza. The cost to register for the event is $9.00 after September 18. There are two ways in which to register, one way is to go online or you can register on the day of the event between 7:30 and 8:15am at Clock Plaza.
