Prosser Wine & Food Fair Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center

This Saturday, August 9, the city of Prosser Washington will be hosting the 33rd Annual Prosser Wine and Food Fair. The festival draws close to 2500 wine lovers from all over the region for an afternoon of fine wine and food. Stroll around tasting wine from 34 Washington wineries, enjoying food put together by 15 local vendors, and trying beer from a couple local breweries as you enjoy the sounds of the local bands that will be performing.
The event will take place at the Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center located in 2140 Wine Country Road Prosser, WA. Things will kick off at 2:00pm and last until 8:00pm. Tickets cost $27.50 and includes admission, glass and program. Neither minors (under 21) nor pets will be permitted at the event.

How about Cool Desert Nights…with wings!? Well that’s exactly what Prosser Washington’s Fly-In is this Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 18, 19 and 20. The Fly-In is an annual event sponsored by the South Central Washington Experimental Aircraft Association; there are various kinds of planes in many different stages on display and flying around. Some of the planes that usually come every year are a restored 1930s Howard, a Long Easy that looks like it is flying backwards because the larger wings are in the back and the smaller ones are in the front, there will be home-built planes, planes that are in the process of being built or restored and a wide array of other planes.
