This is an introductory class for children interested in engineering, math, and wood crafting skills. Your kids will get to create a fun toy called a 'Clacker.'  A Clacker is a generational and traditional New Year's Eve noisemaker guaranteed to generate a lot of racket to bring in the year 2014. Under careful supervision, students will use a hand drill, Japanese saw, and a backsaw to create the Clacker from wooden parts provided. Come join this fun filled educational class and take home a keepsake Clacker.  Presenter is Owen Kramer an amateur wood maker, a retired Project Controls Engineer and a current substitute teaching for the Kennewick School District.
