On April 26 and 27, from 10AM to 5PM, the Lakeside Gem and Mineral Club will hold the 18th Annual Gem and Mineral Show at Benton County Fairgrounds in Kennewick, Wa.
Lakeside Gem and Mineral Club
Named after Lake Wallula and to commemorate the newly built McNary Dam, Lakeside Gem and Mineral Club was started in 1953.
Its purpose is to promote activities of mutual interest for collecting and displaying of gems and minerals.
Gem and Mineral Show
The gem and mineral show will feature 12 dealers, 50 displays, demonstrations, activities for children, door prizes, silent auctions, geode (a rounded rock formation with crystals or banding inside) cracking, and so much more.
This is also your chance to see precious gemstones, minerals, jewelry, fossils, meteorites, special exhibits, and local collections. This is a wonderful event for the whole family. Admission is $5 for adults and seniors. Children under 14 are free, provided they’re attending with paid adults.Colleen D Lane on
