For those who are interested to learn new things, the db Studio at Bernard Griffin Winery, 878 Tulip Lane in Richland, will be conducting a glass bead making class on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12.

This is a two-day class which covers the basic of glass bead making including the tools, studio set up and safety. The techniques on bead making technology also include hot glass manipulation, stringers, making basic bead shape, mavering, dot application, annealing and bead cleaning. Learn also to work with hot glass on the smaller scale. Join in the oldest human art activity and be a part of the fun and interesting class. No prior experience is necessary and return participants are welcome.

$225 – two day class per person · includes studio and class time, instructor guidance, tools and glass allocation that you will need for the project
