Banned Film Series is a Confluent Space Tri-Cities' presentation of films which have been banned in different locations. Confluent Space Tri-Cities is making these movies available to give everyone a chance to dig into the culture, religion and Christian context that made the authorities decide to ban these movies.
The Holy Mountain is a movie that was released in 1973 under the direction and written by Alejandro Jodorowsky. The casts also included Jodorowsky, along with Horacio Salinas, Ramona Saunders, Juan Ferrera and many others. Its story centers on historical events, the bible, and the Tarot. This has been a controversial film because of its anti-religious concept.
