This summer sign your self up for some art classes, this is great for anyone, artistic or not. Throughout the summer Chell Design in Kennewick Washington will be holding art classes for adults. Those who attend will enjoy wine, appetizers, and the chance to create and original piece of art. Check out the following schedule of classes.

July 30 and August 20: Jewelry Making, Silver Bundle Pendant
Wendy lee of Fort Logan Designs will teach you how to make tear drops on silver wire using a live torch. Through the course of the class you will learn hos to measure, bundle and wire wrap a custom pendant. The cost to attend is $110.00 which include the cost of materials. Both sessions will take place from 10:00am-1:00pm.

Throughout the summer Chell Design in Kennewick Washington will be holding art classes for children. These classes are held to teach children not only how to create art but also to teach them the history and technique behind piece of art. Children who attend will participate in lessons centered on a "reason;" reasons may include a reading assignment, a holiday theme, mimicking apiece of art or even following step by step instructions. Classes will also incorporate art history and a chance for your child to creatively explore a theme. The Tri Cities Association of Realtors® June 2011 market report was made available today. Things might seem bleak given the number of homes on the market(1) versus the number of homes sold(2) when comparing to last year's June. However, our homes appear to be increasing in value(3) and the really good news is our market might be headed for an upturn in sales given the number of homes under contract(4). Of course, remembering this time last year the First Time Home Buyer Credit was available, but having said that, June's sales are the lowest in 4 years. Through the various classes your child will learn the basics of knitting and crocheting, learn how to make jewelry, create knitting or weaving crafts that could make great gifts, as well as a variety of other creative shapes and toys. Movies in the Park by Smoovies in Richland Washington
If you are looking for some fun, free things to do with the kids this Summer check out Smoovies’ Free Outdoor Movie in the Park. On selected Fridays and Saturdays at John Dam Plaza and Columbia Park, there will be free family friendly movies.
