Blue Mountain Wildlife Fundraiser in Kennewick

If you don’t have anything to do on April 19, head on out to Kennewick Ranch and Home at 845 N. Columbia Center Blvd. for the annual Blue Mountain Wildlife Fundraiser.

Blue Mountain Wildlife is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to provide help and take care of orphaned, sick, or injured wildlife. Their focus is on birds of prey, providing these creatures the necessary treatment and care to bring them back to their natural habitat.

Their goals include training volunteers to become experts in rehabilitation techniques, helping enhance awareness and appreciation of wildlife through public education, and providing a facility where concerned people can bring wildlife that need care.

Smash for Cash Demolition Derby at TRAC Center in Pasco

Get ready for some smashing fun at the Smash for Cash Demolition Derby happening this weekend at the TRAC Center.

This event, set for April 19th, will feature two demolition derbies in one night, Power Wheels derby for the kids, and Jump You Junk Competition worth $500 cash. One of the well-loved children’s classics, Hansel and Gretel, is coming to Pasco through the Mid-Columbia Ballet.

My Hanford – A Personal History Presentation in Kennewick

On April 17, at 7PM, Kathleen Flenniken will have a presentation at the Mid-Columbia Libraries in Kennewick. East Benton Historical Society will host this presentation.
