Winter Birds At Mcnary National Wildlife Refuge  Burbank, WashingtonOn Saturday, February 14th, from 9:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon the Friends of Mid-Columbia River Wildlife Refuges will be hosting the 4th annual Winter Birds at McNary National Wildlife Refuge .The event is happening at the McNary Environmental Education Center, and activities will include special presentations, bird viewing tours and an art activity. Special presentations include a live bird program by Blue Mountain Wildlife, “Birds in Diverse Habitats,” a slide show by Ivar Husa of the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society, and wildlife films by videographer Gaylord Mink. Admission is free and open to the public.

The McNary National Wildlife Refuge Education Center is located at 311 Lake Road in Burbank, WA. From the Tri-Cities, take I-182 East to Burbank, WA. I-182 becomes US 12 in Pasco. Exit at WA 124 toward Burbank/Waitsburg. Stay right to go over the bridge onto Ice Harbor Drive. In about a mile, turn right onto Lake Road. The McNary Environmental Education Center is about a mile down the road on the right-hand side, just past the pond.
