Calling all winemakers and viticulturists out there. The Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers or WAWGG will have their 2014 annual meeting, convention, and trade show on February 5-7, 2014 from 8AM to 5PM at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, Wa. The WAWGG annual meeting is the second largest convention for the nation’s wine industry.

The main mission of the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers is to cultivate a positive business environment in order for Washington’s wine industry to keep growing. This Saturday, August 9, the city of Prosser Washington will be hosting the 33rd Annual Prosser Wine and Food Fair. The festival draws close to 2500 wine lovers from all over the region for an afternoon of fine wine and food. Stroll around tasting wine from 34 Washington wineries, enjoying food put together by 15 local vendors, and trying beer from a couple local breweries as you enjoy the sounds of the local bands that will be performing.
