The Allied Arts Association is pleased to present to you the 61st Annual Art in the Park on July 29-30. Art in the Park is an annual event held each summer in Richland Washington's Howard Amon Park. This annual event is a place where the experienced and novice artists and art lovers can come together for one coming theme, ART. The show features a wide variety of art, you are guaranteed to find photos, jewelry, metal art, furniture, pottery, paintings, glass art, and much more at the Annual Arts in the Park event. Throughout the two days of Art in the Park there will be artists giving demonstrations, delicious food, music, and a shuttle service. There is no fee to attend the event. This summer Hapo, the official sponsor of summer, is holding the 9th annual Live @ 5 concert series on Thursday nights at 5:00pm. Each year these weekly concert series throughout the summer draws thousands of people. Live @ 5 is a family friend event held in Richland WA's John Dam Plaza. These weekly concerts are free but make sure to bring some money there will be vendors present as well as activities for the kids. Both regional and local talent will featured.

These classes are held to teach children not only how to create art but also to teach them the history and technique behind piece of art. Through the various classes your child will learn the basics of knitting and crocheting, learn how to make jewelry, create knitting or weaving crafts that could make great gifts, as well as a variety of other creative shapes and toys. Movies in the Park by Smoovies in Richland Washington
If you are looking for some fun, free things to do with the kids this Summer check out Smoovies’ Free Outdoor Movie in the Park. On selected Fridays and Saturdays at John Dam Plaza and Columbia Park, there will be free family friendly movies. The evening begins at about 7:00 with a performance by a local, pre selected, family friendly entertainer and kids can enjoy a bounce house and a sing and dance time with TJ the Tiger; the movie will begin at sundown.
