Red Cross On Thursday, March 5 TRAC Center in 6600 Burden Boulevard Pasco, Washington will be hosting Red Cross "Real Heroes Breakfast" from: 7:00 until 8:15 in the morning.

Details of the Red Cross "Real Heroes Breakfast"
The annual Real Heroes Breakfast at the TRAC Event Center will be honoring local heroes and bring together over 600 business, military and civic leaders to celebrate outstanding acts of heroism and service. This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are required for attendance - call (509) 783-6195. All guests will be asked to consider a financial gift in support of the Red Cross during the event.

The Benton Franklin chapter of the American Red Cross has scheduled several blood drives throughout the Tri Cities Washington. The Red Cross depends on the kind generosity of healthy members in the community to give blood each and every day. The life span of cells is not long, platelets only last up to 5 days and red blood cells last up to 42 days. Visit any of the scheduled blood drives or go to the Tri Cities Donor Center to give the gift of blood this holiday season.

This Thanksgiving, the Benton Franklin Red Cross will be holding their 7th annual Turkey Trot to benefit the Benton/Franklin chapter of the American Red Cross. The annual Turkey Trot includes a 1 mile fun run and a 5k run, both races begin at 8:45am at the stage area of Columbia Park in Kennewick Washington (across from the playground of dreams). Registration after November 18 costs $20 per person or $25 if you would like a shirt too. Online, mail in, and in person registration for the Turkey Trot will be open up until November 23, day of the race registration will be available near the stage at Columbia Park. Race packets can be picked up beginning November 24 at the Red Cross in Kennewick.
