Carved Pumpkin Contest & Trick or Treat In Downtown Pasco, WashingtonThis coming Saturday, October 25 there will be a free event at Pasco Farmers Market, S. 4th Avenue and W. Columbia St. in Downtown Pasco, Washington.

Details of the 2014 Carved Pumpkin Contest & Trick or Treat
Wear your own costume and don't forget to bring your carved pumpkins between 8:00 until 10:00 in the morning to enter the 2014 Carved Pumpkin Contest. Winners will be announced at 11:00 in the morning. There will also be contests at the event for four age groups: ages 0-4, ages 5-11, ages 12-17, and ages 18 and up will compete for bragging rights!

Ttrick or treat in Downtown Pasco will be from 11:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon.

He is an American singer-songwriter who won the eleventh season of American Idol on May 23, 2012. Phillips started playing music, particularly the guitar when he was 14. Phillips’ coronation song "Home", released after his win, became the bestselling of all coronation songs. Before to trying out for American Idol, he also auditioned on the second season of America's Got Talent but did not make it to its finals.

The event is presented by Bergstorm Aircraft, Inc. Learn all about flying, meet real pilots and preflight a real plane. They will also be teaching a little about navigation, weather, communications and flight controls.

Pre-registration is required. Slot is limited to 100 students ages 9 to 18. Registration fee is $10.00 per child and includes hotdog lunch. Lunch is scheduled from 12 PM to 1PM - siblings and parents are welcome for only $5.00.

Community Concerts presents On Sunday, October 5 there will be community concert at the Faith Assembly Auditorium located on 1880 Road 72 in Pasco, Washington. The event starts at 7:30 in the evening and features "Hot Sardines".

Who are the Hot Sardines?
The group is from New York and composed of co-founders Miz Elizabeth (canary, washboard) and Evan "Bibs" Palazzo (piano, bandleader), plus featured players: Fast Eddy Francisco (tap), Jason Prover (trumpet), Alex Raderman (drums), Evan "Sugar" Crane (bass), Nick Myers (reeds).They play high-energy traditional jazz with a Parisian accent.
