About Gypsy Ballads and Mass of the Immigrants 
Romancero Gitano or Gypsy Ballads as translated is a book of poems written by Spanish writer Federico Garcia Lorca, it was published in 1928. It is made up of 18 ballads revolving around the topic of the gypsy lifestyle, culture and customs. Romancero Gitano is the most bought book of Spanish poems and many bands used them as lyrics for their song.

Seattle Pro Musica will be performing in Kennewick, Washington. They will be presenting a choral program entitled "New Sounds Northwest: New works by Washington composers." The new Mid-Columbia Boys' Choir will also be featured on the program.

The Mid-Columbia Mastersingers welcome the Spokane Choral Artists and artistic director Max Mendez in Kenenwick, Washington, This will be their second collaboration, this time in a concert of music by Vivaldi, Brahms, Muehleisen, Rutter, Tavener and Whitacre. The "Behind the Music" talk begins 30 minutes before each performance.
