Pet over Population Prevention’s 9th Annual Fur Ball in KennewickHere’s a furtastic event you wouldn’t want to miss.

Pet over Population Prevention (POPP) is a local, non-profit, all-volunteer, NO-kill pet organization that’s dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership with the aim of preventing the needless death and suffering of companion animals. Over the years, they have helped save over 8,000 pets and have provided spay/neuter services to 16,000 cats and dogs.

If you’re interested in the auction, be informed that the first silent auction table will close at 6:20PM. Thereafter, a special dinner, featuring Classic Mediterranean Menu prepared by Chef Andy Craig of Castle Catering, will be served at 7PM. The live auction will follow immediately after dinner.

The 31st Annual Pasco Chamber Auction, Lights...Camera...Auction, is right around the corner and tickets are going fast. The auction will be held on April 9 at the Red Lion Hotel in Pasco Washington beginning with a social hour at 6:00pm. There will be a silent auction, dinner, and a live auction. The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership will be hosting the first ever annual Painted Chair contest in the Tri Cities on July 19. Chairs may range in style, it could be a bench, kitchen chair, lawn chair, or any other sort of seat. Each contestant must also have a vote box which needs to be decorated and have a slot at the top for vote slips to slide through. Contestants must provide their own chair, decorations, and vote box. Participants in the Painted Chair contest must fill out an entry form and pay $10. Chairs will displayed at Flag Plaza on the corner of Kennewick Avenue and Auburn Street in Kennewick Washington.
