The 31st Annual Pasco Chamber Auction, Lights...Camera...Auction, is right around the corner and tickets are going fast. The auction will be held on April 9 at the Red Lion Hotel in Pasco Washington beginning with a social hour at 6:00pm. There will be a silent auction, dinner, and a live auction. Those who are interested in supporting the Pasco Chamber of Commerce but who are unable to attend can make item donations in the name of their business or family. These items can be anything that are considered to reflect the business or that would attract some bids. Mardi Gras is just around the corner and the Hanford Reach has sent out their save the date! Mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 8, 5:30pm-9:00pm for the 3rd annual Mardi Gras auction at the Country Gentleman. This auction will feature a diverse selection of auction items, distinctive art by local artists, Cajun style cooking, live music, and dancing. Doors open at 5:30 pm, Cocktail hour and the Silent Auction will take place at 6:00pm followed by dinner, a live auction and dessert dash at 7:00pm. The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership will be hosting the first ever annual Painted Chair contest in the Tri Cities on July 19. Chairs may range in style, it could be a bench, kitchen chair, lawn chair, or any other sort of seat. Each contestant must also have a vote box which needs to be decorated and have a slot at the top for vote slips to slide through. Contestants must provide their own chair, decorations, and vote box. Participants in the Painted Chair contest must fill out an entry form and pay $10. Chairs will displayed at Flag Plaza on the corner of Kennewick Avenue and Auburn Street in Kennewick Washington.
