On May 21 head over to Preston Premium Wines for the Stomp Out Cancer Event. Stomp Out Cancer is a fundraising event hosted by Preston Premium Wines, Team Stomp IT and Gary’s Gang to benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be dinner, dancing, music and wine for all to enjoy. You will also be able to join in on some fun games as well as participate in live and silent auctions to benefit the American Cancer Society. Stomp Out Cancer will take place at Preston Premium Wines in Pasco Washington from 4:00pm-10:00pm on May 21.

Tickets can be purchased at either the Bank of Whitman in Pasco Washington or the American Cancer Society in Kennewick Washington. The price of tickets is $65 for a couple or $250 for a table of 8.

Coming up on May 28 the Auction of Washington Wines will be hosting Revelry on Red Mountain. Revelry on Red Mountain will take place at Col Solare Red Mountain Winery and Estate Vineyard in Benton City Washington beginning at 6:00pm. This event will feature 20 local winemakers with a culinary feast put together by Chef Frank Magana of Picazo 7Seventeen. Those who attend will enjoy tasting local wines and cooking and of course gorgeous views of Red Mountain. A silent and live auction will take place to benefit the Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Washington Wine Education Foundation, so bring your checkbooks.

Tickets for Revelry on Red Mountain cost $95 per person, these can be purchased by going to the Auction of Washington website.

Pat Brown and Rocky Mullen of Green Shred step up to show their support of a local charity raising money for autism programs in the Tri Cities community.

Rocky Mullen, owner of Sahara Pizza,  saw a promotion from the Responding to Autism Center on Facebook about bidding for a car donated by Action Auto Services.  He did...and he won it to use as a delivery car for only $3100.  And his passion for the cause and positive momentum for the Carson Kolzig Foundation continues.

Next Saturday, May 14, head over to the Airfield Estates Tasting Room in Prosser Washington for the Red, White and Wine fundraiser event to benefit the Prosser Boys and Girls Club. The event is being sponsored by Airfield Estates, Martinez & Martinez, Kestrel Vintners, Coyote Canyon Winery, Prosser’s Tom Denchel Ford Country Dealership, Agapes Events, Espirit Graphics, Conover Insurance, and Sara Nelson Design.

Winemakers from Airfield Estates, Martinez & Martinez, and Kestrel Vintners will be on hand throughout the event. Food will be provided by Tuscany Chef Jesse Ayala. March for Dimes' Annual March for Babies

The March of Dimes will be having their annual March for Babies, May 7 at Columbia Park in Kennewick. The march is a 6.5 mile walk through Columbia Park along the river. Throughout the 6.5 miles there will be six checkpoints along the way and a hot dog lunch at the end. Things start going at 8:00am when the refreshments and registration begins. At 8:45am there will be warm-ups and announcements with the walk beginning at 9:00am. The purpose of the March of Dimes’ March for Babies is to raise money for research and programs. The Carson Kolzig Foundation will be having their second annual Responding to Autism Event this Friday, April 15 at the Three Rivers Convention Center from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The purpose of this free Responding to Autism Event is to bring families together, share resources, and promote awareness.There will be over one-hundred local resources present with booths for families to take resources about various areas such as diagnostic services, interventions, specialized therapies, educational products/materials, resources for everyday needs, childcare, behavior management, and more. Head out to the TRAC in Pasco Washington on April 9 for the Smash for Cash Demolition Derby. The Smash for Cash will feature a Charity Demo, Tuff Truck, 80s Class, Jump Your Junk, and a Big Car Demolition Derby. You don’t want to miss out on any of this great action!

Charity Demo: The winner will have $1,200 or more donated on their behalf to one of the local Tri Cities military charities (Camp Patriot, US Troop Care Package, ACES or Time of Remembrance).

"High Class at White Pass" is scheduled for Saturday, April 9th. It is a dinner with wine tasting that will take place in the Sitzmark Lounge (bar) in the White Pass Ski Resort Day Lodge. White Pass Company has graciously offered to donate and prepare the food and it looks like we have at least 4 wineries confirmed at this date to pour wine.  

100% of the proceeds will go to the White Pass Ski Patrol!

On April 16, come out and run in support of local Autism programs around the Tri Cities Washington area at the Responding to Autism Fun Run. All the proceeds raised at the run will go towards providing resources for families affected by autism; resources such as low cost/free autism screenings.

The Responding to Autism Fun Run will include a 1 mile family friendly, 5K and a 10K. The cost is $20 for the 5K or the 10K; price includes a t-shirt. The 1 mile run is $5 and does not include a t-shirt. The price to buy a t-shirt separately is $15.
