Earth Day 2011

For those of you who don’t know, this year marks the 41st year of Earth Day. Earth Day was created for the purpose of inspiring awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. Every year Earth Day is celebrated in every country on Earth. Today worldwide there are many individuals and corporations working together to do what they can for the Earth. People in the Tri Cities are doing what they can to be part of this day and do what they can for the Earth.

In celebration of Earth Day the Carson Kolzig Foundation and Green Shred will be hosting a free document shred day. If you are looking for a safe way to discard your old bank statements, documents, or papers then bring to the Responding to Autism Center and Green Shred will shred them for you when you make a donation to the Carson Kolzig Foundation. Donations will go towards the scholarship fund at the Responding to Autism Center. Free Shred Day will take place next Friday, April 29 from 11:00 – 4:00 at the Responding to Autism Center in Kennewick.
