This weekend the Tri Cities will be home to the first annual Tattoo Convention at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick Washington. The convention will be a weekend event beginning Saturday, September 25, from 11:00am to 10:00pm and going through Sunday from 11:00am to 6:00pm. There will be many seminars, contests, vendors, and artists for you to enjoy and browse through. Vendors such as H2Ocean, 4 Horseman Productions/Pur Cirkus, OXYKing, Okygen Bar, Scentsy Wickless Candles, Photobooth, and others. There will be studios such as Birthmarx Tattoo, Monarch Tattoo and Body Piercing, Hoops Body Art, Notorious Ink and many more represented at the convention.

If you are looking for something to do Saturday, October 2, then head on down to Dayton Washington for Dayton on Tour. If you head over then you will not be lacking for things to do. To start things off there will be an art walk down Main Street beginning at 10:00am and lasting through 4:00pm. The art walk will take place at several of the cities studios and galleries such as Wenaha Gallery, Jill Ingram Gallery, and the Keith McMaster’s Studio as well as the Dayton Historic Depot and Delany Building, and Mrs. Mc's Antiques. The Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership will be hosting the first ever annual Painted Chair contest in the Tri Cities on July 19. Chairs may range in style, it could be a bench, kitchen chair, lawn chair, or any other sort of seat. Each contestant must also have a vote box which needs to be decorated and have a slot at the top for vote slips to slide through. Contestants must provide their own chair, decorations, and vote box. Participants in the Painted Chair contest must fill out an entry form and pay $10. Chairs will displayed at Flag Plaza on the corner of Kennewick Avenue and Auburn Street in Kennewick Washington.
