If you are looking for something to do Saturday, October 2, then head on down to Dayton Washington for Dayton on Tour. If you head over then you will not be lacking for things to do. To start things off there will be an art walk down Main Street beginning at 10:00am and lasting through 4:00pm. The art walk will take place at several of the cities studios and galleries such as Wenaha Gallery, Jill Ingram Gallery, and the Keith McMaster’s Studio as well as the Dayton Historic Depot and Delany Building, and Mrs. Mc's Antiques. Following the art walk from 4:00 to 6:00pm the Historic Depot will be hosting an Artist’s reception and Stationmaster sculpture dedication.  Sculptor, Keith McMasters has created a bronze sculpture to be displayed at Dayton’s Historic Depot which will be dedicated during the Artist’s reception; the dedication will take place at 4:30. The reception will allow you to mingle with any of the twenty-seven artists featured in the art walk. From 10:00am to 3:00pm there will be a “Blue Sky Fun” Kite contest on the courthouse lawn. Judging will take place at 3:00pm and awards will be presented at the Artist’s reception. Stick around and you can see some of the kites flying around after the judging.

The homes and buildings tour will take place from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in six of Dayton’s historic structures, all of which are listed on the local, state, and national registry of historic places.
